Where the Spaarne river enters the city of Haarlem, accommodation opportunities for the local young adult population are on the rise.
This development aims to reduce the gap between the low supply and high demand in housing for young adults in the vicinity of Haarlem.
With the remaining space to house people along the waterside of the Spaarne river in short supply, the plot offers room for around 100 apartments on a unique and accessible location.
Situated between the dunes and meadows of Noord-Holland, the city center is only a 10 min bike ride away.
Currently the preliminary design is being draft. The design includes integral (bicycle) parking, shared facilities and spaces for the inhabitants to rendezvous; enabling residents to meet and exchange ideas.
