Ridder van Catsweg, Gouda
The plan proposes three dwelling buildings, housing 192 apartments, of which 41 dwellings will be social housing. While the volumes of the three buildings are diverse, the buildings unite in their sense of orientation, materials and architectural detailing. The buildings share a spacious parking facility, which will consist of two layers.
The composition of plan takes solar exposure, sightlines and vegetation into consideration with the emphasis to not only redevelop the landscape on the own plot, but to make an integral plan for the vegetation on and around the location.
All buildings will be heated using a heat pump system in combination with solar cells on the roof.
