Located on the edge of the village of Spaarndam, the Meadow House responds to the local architecture, with its dominant mansard and hip roofs and brick masonry, while seizing the opportunity for a panoramic view of the Dutch landscape. The open central staircase connects the bedrooms concealed in the roofscape and vaulted living room with floor-to-ceiling sliding windows that frame the view of the meadows.

"From the exterior, the Meadow House provides the exciting challenge of respecting the surrounding traditional ‘80s and ‘90s residential architecture, while the interior focuses on contemporary spacious living and a strong connection to the landscape."
